Life in the Fast Lane
I have been so busy lately showing Cash the ropes of this new world he's in that I haven't taken the time to blog about it. Well, here's what we've been up to during Cash's 3 weeks of life.
Cash was a little jaundiced so here he is getting a check up with Dr. Suvan...
Luckily, it wasn't too bad so he didn't have to use the bili-blanket like I did when I was a newborn. Mom and Dad were glad they didn't have to go through that again!
I took him to his first story time at the library when he was just one week old. I'm not sure if he had fun since he slept the entire time. During one of the stories I leaned over and told Mommy I needed to kiss him. So she moved him over by me so I could give him a few smooches while the librarian read to us. Mommy thought that was so sweet! Here we are getting ready to leave for story time at the library...
I also took him to playgroup to show him off and introduce him to all of my friends. Here we are getting ready to leave for our playdate...Then last weekend we went to Great-Grandma and Grandpa Thacker's house to decorate some eggs! It was all good until I spilled the blue egg dye all over Grandma's table and floor. OOPS!

Here I am sampling a little Easter candy before dying some eggs. (As you can see from my smile I was enjoying it!)
And then Sunday the Easter Egg came--I mean Easter Bunny (for some reason I keep saying the Easter Egg came instead of bunny! ha ha) Cash and I both got some great things.

Here's a pic of Cash with his book and new Rock Star blanket he got from the Easter Bunny. (Surprise, surprise he slept through Easter too!)
